# Lobbing Scorchers: Inside the Seattle Sounders Youth System

Ari Liljenwall sits down with Seattle Sounders Technical Director Henry Brauner for an interview focused on the Seattle Sounders youth development system.

Brauner shares with Lobbing Scorchers the recent success of the Sounders academy teams at the Generation Adidas Cup. One player who shined during the tournament was Tacoma Defiance signing Christopher Batiz who at only 15 years old already has a professional contract.

Liljenwall and Brauner also discuss Snyder Brunell's recent breakout and how the Sounders are able to elevate players like Paul Rothrock and Peter Kingston.
